Club Career

Born in Viana do Castelo, Neto’s career began with him joining Braga‘s system at the young age of 13. He quickly distinguished himself and while still a junior, he made his professional debut with their reserves on May 7, 2017, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 2 -3 loss against Porto B in the Segunda Liga. He subsequently scored his first goal in the following week, his first Primeira Liga appearance with the first team to become the club’s youngest ever goal scorer in the competition.

On August 31 2017, Neto was loaned alongside his teammate Bruno Jordão to Lazio in Italy for a period of two years with an obligation to buy both players for a combined fee of €26 million.

Neto signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 2, 2019 making his debut twelve days later in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round against Pyunik where he scored as well as provided an assist in the 4 – 0 win.
